AkzoNobel has launched the Paint Defect ID App, a great new digital solution that helps painters quickly identify the root cause of a paint defect and how to solve it. This easy-to-use app enables the technician to take a picture of the defect with a mobile phone and compare it to the image database to select the appropriate match, find the root cause, and then learn how to solve and prevent future occurrences. The app also has an ‘explore’ function that enables painters to review the list of the most common paint defects including a description, possible causes, rectification methods, and prevention measures.
