Buffalo Engine Components has been a player in the automotive parts recycling industry since 1981. First as a warehouse distributor of used engines and transmissions, we have grown towards buying and selling automotive scrap metal to add to Buffalo Engine Components’ diversity. Buffalo Engine was able to complete the installation of two 6mm BTU/HR MAX4000SP Aluminum Sweat Furnaces in February of 2016. Each single pour RSI sow produced by these furnaces weighs approximately 2,000 pounds [1 ton, 907 kg]. Buffalo Engine produces sows with consistent chemistry as only scrap aluminum engines and transmissions from this core business are used in the re-melt process.
